As a caregiver of my elderly mother, I have experienced about every emotions there is. Resentment, depression, guilt, frustration, fear and anger. Everyone tells you to have a good support system. That IS the key. I found friends who didn't mind lending an ear so that I was able to vent some of these emotions. Good friends and relatives were an important part of setting myself free for an afternoon. Surround yourself with these type of people and it will help you greatly. I found a great source of inspiration online too. I had to find a way to let the negative go so that I finally saw the rewards. I have no regrets.
