Hey! My son is 8 now. He always tells me that he used to have a bad taste in his mouth. I ignored that thinking that it will not be a big problem. But one day, I saw a blood stain in his mouth. When he started explaining, I understood that after flossing, his gums bleed. I checked the floss to know if it has any damages. He told me that his gums bleed every time after brushing and flossing. I took him to a doctor to find out the problem. But he couldn't find any. Then I understood that the problem is with his teeth. I took him to the kids dentist in Oakville ( ). The bleeding was caused because of the inflammation of the gum tissues. Bad taste in the mouth was also a symptom of this. Will this gum disease lead to tooth loss and bone damage? Is it necessary to have regular visits to the dentist to prevent gingivitis?
