My elder sister is a diabetic patient. It was during her first pregnancy she was diagnosed with diabetes. For the past 8 years, she has been undergoing the treatment. Since the sugar level is not stable, from last year onwards she started taking insulin.

Happy to say that after 8 years she got pregnant for the second time and this is her 7th month. Since she is taking insulin she really fears whether it will affect the health of the baby or not. Her body too is not that strong because of the consumption of all these medicines for the past 8 years. So we need someone to take care of her health after the delivery. I'm planning to appoint a postnatal doula ( ) to look after her. Because she will be really in need of help after the delivery as it is a late delivery, I guess doulas can take good care of both my sister and the baby.

Please do pray for my sister for a safe and a normal delivery. Thanks!
