My mom is diabetic. She is diagnosed with osteoarthritis recently. My aunt suggested trying medical cannabis for pain relief. She has been taking medical cannabis for her spinal cord injury and she says it is magic. I googled about the effects of cannabis in curing osteoarthritis and found out that this would help in reversing the effects of inflammation and therefore reducing pain and improve movement. Legalization of marijuana is still a burning topic in our province. I have found some clinics and service providers here providing cannabis treatments and research options. I took an appointment at a clinic in Toronto for her, where they provide medical marijuana services for chronic pain relief, arthritis, PTSD and much more similar diseases. My mom doesn't smoke and she still considers smoking pot is kind of taboo or something. It took me a while to convince her to take the appointment. The appointment is scheduled this Saturday meanwhile I’m researching about the other medicinal benefits of marijuana. I’m curious about the cannabis intake options. My aunt uses a vaporizer to inhale the cannabis. What are the other possible options? My mom won’t be comfortable with conventional smoking methods. Are there any other options other than vaporization and smoking? Kindly share your view. Thank you in advance.
