Sometimes it is hard to know whether your loved one needs more help.  This is a compilation of lists.  This list is of things to look for to determine whether your loved one needs more help or even intervention.

I found a great resource called the Eldercare Locator.  This is a government site designed to help you find local care for a loved one.  They created a checklist of things to look for.  While we have multiple assessment tools on our own site - I thought this list was terrific and simple as a starting point.

So, healthcare reform is now a reality.  Many of us in the healthcare field are holding our collective breath wondering what exactly this will mean for patients and for professionals.  But, one thing still missing is the notion of self-care.
